A behavior, personality, or teaching style is our predictable pattern of behaviors and  emotions.  It is how we see, what we do, and how we act.  Behavior styles affect our actions, our words, our relationships, and our work environment.
One behavior styles' model is the DISC Personality System

The word "DISC" stands for -

" D " - Dominant/ Driver
" I " - Influencing/ Inspiring
" S " - Stable/ Steady 
" C " - Compliant/ Correct 

People vary in their pace and priorities

According to the pace category, people are Fast or  Slow.   

Priority deals with people's orientation.  People are  Task-oriented or 
People-oriented

DISC Personality System
Pace
Fast-paced individuals are - 

Active
Assertive
Competitive
Leading
Outgoing
Risk-taking and
Taking charge

On the other hand, slow-paced people are -

Cautious
Listening
Not risk-taking
Quiet
Reserved
Security seeking
Shy
Priority
Priority deals with orientation.
 
Task-oriented people are more comfortable with "doing things".  They make decisions based on the facts. 

People-oriented individuals enjoy "being with people".  They are seen as warm, caring, sensitive, feeling, and compassionate.
DISC Behavior Styles
As a result of the variation in pace and priority, there are four basic DISC Behavior Styles.

" D " or Fast-Paced and Task-Oriented
" I "or Fast-Paced and People-Oriented
" S " or Slower-Paced and People-Oriented
" C " or Slower-Paced and Task-Oriented
