The system contains two inventories -
CDPI (Career Direct Personality Inventory)
ISVI (Interest, Skills, and Values Inventory)
The Personality Inventory provides the strengths and weaknesses of the
eight personality factors resulting in sixteen personality profile descriptions.
Within the Interest Area, there are 5 broad vocational areas and 20 General Interest Career Groups.
The 5 Vocational Areas are: Doing, Helping, Influencing, Analyzing, and Expressing. The report discusses High Interest Areas providing information about
potential careers and college majors.
In the Skills Area, there are 12 areas. The report gives a description of
the High Skill Areas.
The Values Areas has 3 sections: Work Environment, Work Expectations, and Life Values.
A thirty-six page personalized report discusses personality types, vocational interests, skills, abilities, and work priorities.
In addition, there are three audio-tapes, an individualized action plan, job sampler, and a career guide.
