don Quijote was founded in 1986 by René de Jong as a language travel agency representing Spanish language schools. In 1989, René de Jong´s and his sister Marianne opened don Quijote’s first school, in Salamanca. Largely through the recommendations of 70,000+ satisfied students, we have grown to eight locations in Spain and Latin America, all controlled by the central office - to ensure that every student’s experience meets our original vision of service and quality.
